Our Humble Beginnings

Stay Sharp Tool was established in 1974 in the basement of an old industrial building in Attleboro, MA focused on sharpening tools and special milling cutters for the local jewelry industry. The company quickly expanded its offerings to include the manufacturing of jewelry tools supporting many of the surrounding businesses. Over the years, Stay Sharp Tool diversified into a contract metal stamping company  acquiring its first drop hammer in 1976 and producing a variety of jewelry findings.  In 1981, Stay Sharp Tool moved its location to Mansfield, MA, and by 1984, it settled into its current facility in North Attleboro, MA where it continues to do business today as a contract manufacturer of metal stampings across various industries.

In 2025, Stay Sharp Tool evolved into StaySharp Industries and became a proud second-generation family owned business.  As we begin this new chapter, we are committed to building on the strong foundation established over the past 50 years. While we will maintain our current offerings, we are enthusiastic about expanding our services to provide complete end-to-end solutions that address the changing needs of our customers.
